Arrival and departure:

The room is at your disposal from 4 p.m. on the day of your arrival and we welcome you with an appointment until 9:30 p.m. at the latest. Please let us know your arrival time no later than the day before your stay. You can use the room until 11 a.m. on the day of your departure.

Train and Bus:

The closest station is La Gouesniere station but the TGV only stops in Rennes and Saint-Malo.

It is easy to reach Cancale by taking Bus line 5 from the Saint-Malo TGV station to Cancale Petites Croix (750m from our house) or Cancale Stade (700m from our house).

If you get off the train at La Gouesniere I order a taxi to go to Cancale.

Allergies:

Please notify us upon booking if we need to make arrangements for your food or contact allergies.
The rooms are without carpet and the pillows are without feathers.

Animals:
Pets are not accepted in the ""Chausey"" double room and the ""Saint-Malo"" and ""Mont-Saint-Michel"" suites.

In the double room with terrace "Cancale" you can stay with your dog (max. 1 animal). A supplement of 8 Euros per night (without food) will be charged. A basket, bowl and towel can be provided. We have a dog and a cat who also live on the property. Please ensure that your pet is up to date with its vaccinations, anti-parasitic treatment, etc. Pets cannot be alone in the room. We do not offer pet sitting services. You are entirely responsible for any damage your pet may cause. In common areas the animal must be kept on a leash.

Baby:

We have a travel cot, a baby bath and a high chair for your children. Do not hesitate to ask for them when you make your reservation.

Environment:

We try to limit our impact on the environment in order to preserve and protect nature. Here are the measures already put in place:

  • NEW: Installation of photovoltaic panels (July 2023)

  • Adjust the flush consumption of our toilets

  • Installing water savers for shower heads

  • Using rainwater for watering

  • Sorting of waste

  • Installing a compost

  • Installation of an efficient heating system

  • Insulation of the walls of the house

  • Use of low consumption light bulbs

  • Favor the use of natural or ""CE"" labeled household products

  • Favor the purchase of organic products, produced in the region, in bulk

  • Since the beginning of the adventure we have only changed our customers' towels if the customer has left them on the floor.

  • Since 2022 our guests can choose the frequency of linen changes and cleaning service for their room

  • Using glass water bottles or canteens

Payment:

You can pay for your stay by bank card, Mastercard, Visa, in cash (euros only) or with ANCV or ANCV connect holiday vouchers.

Car park:

4 free parking spaces for cars are located at in front of the house. It is also possible to park for free on the street.

Breakfast:

Breakfast is served each morning in the veranda or dining room. Your room rate always includes breakfast.
The breakfast is intended to be generous and always with homemade products such as jam and brioche or other cakes. We also called on local artisans, honey, salted butter caramel, pastries and bread. ..If you come at the right time, you can taste the strawberries from the garden!

Courtesy tray:

In our living room and the veranda you can enjoy
- courtesy tray for tea, infusion or coffee with a view of our garden. This service is available free of charge to our guests.
- the library with guides and maps of the region
- television
- board games
- magazines and newspaper
and find yourself around a warm fire when it's cold outside.

Meal:

Apart from breakfast we do not offer other meals on site. You can have a "takeaway" meal in town and sit in our garden, veranda or living room. We also have cutlery and crockery available.
For takeaway meals we recommend:
- the cheese & charcuterie platters at the Baie des Fromages in Cancale
- the oyster & seafood platters from the Viviers de la Houle in Cancale or the Ferme des Nielles in Saint-Meloir-des-Ondes
- the Al bon Gusto Pizza truck which is in Cancale on Wednesday evenings
- the Cancale market on Sunday morning
